I am twenty years old, and in my third year of undergraduate studies at DePaul University.
I will be receiving a double major: one degree in vocal performance, and one degree in music education (certified K-12).
I will most likely specialize in either general music, and/or choral instruction, but would love the opportunity to work with bands, orchestras, and even chamber ensembles!

I believe that it is every child's right to learn and understand how to create, perform, listen and respond to music. It is every teacher's responsibility to bestow these ideas upon their students. I feel that music educators can give the gift of teaching all students, and allowing each one to experience the joys of music to the fullest, regardless of racial or ethnic background, religion, age, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.
